Two weeks of very hard work. I learned so much about 3DS Max and how to do high-poly modeling in this project. Very fun stuff! There is some science behind the robot. It was designed for a bio-mimicry assignment where we took an attribute from nature and applied it to a product. This Venusian Crawler was made for planetary exploration and can withstand densely pressured atmospheres. This technology is based off of many ocean creatures that use swim bladders to deal with the deep pressures of the ocean! Maybe one day I will rig and animate this lil' guy... but probably not!
